ABOUT ABBIE PAYNE

Greetings Earthlings! My name is Abbie (pronouns she/her) and this is the beginning of a new era. I have been a self-published author for just over five years and in those five years I have experienced so much. I have nine books out currently. Young Adult (YA) dystopian was my first love and I have since ventured out into YA fantasy and science fiction (SFF). But it doesn't end there! I've recently decided to venture out into other genres and write more stories with other themes that dystopian and SFF don't cater to as well - like mental health, trauma, grief, and - of course - women and gay people. When I'm not writing, I'm learning about tarot and crystals, gardening, watching a k-drama or c-drama, or hanging out with my dog - a German Shepherd mix named Yoda.
